Watched an awesome movie..

Surprise again!

After a long time since the last karaoke gathering, we decided to hang in Neway QB..

We had our lunch at the Queens Market before screaming our lungs out..

Next we head to our room and started with some warm up song..

After a few songs we were ready to shout..

Chand and I sang When You Believe, and officially our song..

Suddenly when Mao & Chand were singing their song, it stops suddenly!

Chand was like F U!!

In seconds, the door opened and a waitress came in with a cake! *LOL*

They almost forgotten about it.. Haha!!

The karaoke plays some Birthday song which repeats for like 3 times, but I skipped the last 2..

As the song finished, they continue their song which was cut off just now, and left me alone..

What best friends I have..

They joined me after their song..

Anyway, LOVE YOU GALS!!

Annual Dinner 2011 Pt.2

The girls and boys are separated, so as boys had far lesser participants than girls, I practically owns the room!
After the others had done their bathing, I went in for a relaxing soak in the bath tub..
Spend almost half an hour in there, listening to some Gaga to relax..

After that, went to check out on the girls..
To my surprise, they were already preparing themselves!
Putting on make-up, styling hairs and putting on shoes..

Anyway, went back to my room and doze off on the fluffy bed..
About 30mins later, the other guys came back & woke me up! *Ish*
Jealousy.. *Haha*

Anyway, woke up and was still drowsy.. The others are starting to get themselves ready..

I was the last to get ready, so I was a little off time..
Anyway, I managed to appear in time to meet everybody down at the ballroom..

After the opening dance, which most people was surprise to watch, the tension build up..
About an hour or less later, I’m going up the stage…
Anyway, when the food is served, I temporary forgot about the competition and was eating..
Laughing at the emcee’s joke and happily gobble everything up..

But after the first participant went up, I was beginning to get nervous again..
Pulse reaching tachycardia.. OMG, why like this??
Went to the changing room for our last practice with Kai Ling and give each other some emotional support..
When I went back out there, I wasn’t in the mood to eat anymore..
So I started to listen to some Gaga to calm me down.. Yeah it works..

When it was our turn, I just went up there as if there was no tomorrow..
Sang my heart out, but still was very nervous..
Then I turn to a table full of familiar faces.. The faces of Y-Group..
I waved at them, and it did reduced my nervousness..
It was then I let it all out..
Kai Ling did a great job!!
What a relieve, after that, I was back to eating mode and enjoying the rest of the performances!

Soon the night was at its end..
And it’s what we participants was waiting for, the closing dance..!
It was fun!! We enjoy every second on the stage! The song to the dance is Jai Ho by Pussycat Dolls *totally like that song*

Fyi, we didn’t get any prize..
But we got RM150 as consolation!

It was a fun night!!
I met a lot of people who were strangers before, and I enjoy performing with them!
Gotta make sure I enter next year!

Annual Dinner 2011 Pt.1

It’s the time of the year where the hospital staff and students are gonna enjoy the most..
During the annual dinner night..
This year’s theme are ‘Nite of the Movies’..
And this year also, I’m participating in the singing competition..!


Well, I easily have stage fright, so this is a duet with my friend Kai Ling..
We’re gonna sing My Heart from the Indonesian movie Heart.


Yeah, a love song.. We practiced hard!
Anyway, it’s D-Day and we don’t have to report for duties!
We need to be at Equatorial Hotel at 10.30am for rehearsal..


As we reached there with the other performers, we found out that the stage was close to done, so we had our breakfast first..
As the stage is ready, we start with our opening dance..
It was fun..


Then I started to get all nervous when the singers are called to get ready..
We’re the fourth to perform and still, when I got up there, I started to shake a little..
Okay, may be more than a little, but I manage to sing it all well..


But we still get some negative feedbacks, so we went for practicing while the others do their rehearsal..
Our hard work did pay off when we got some new ideas!!


At the end of the session we practiced our closing dance and call it a day..
We packed up and went to our hotel rooms..

Little surprises

As my birthday draws nearer and nearer, I get more and more little surprise celebrations from my friends..
They really got my heart ‘beating like a drum’, haha!

My first celebration was from Chandra and her family.. It wasn’t a surprise.. Mao & I was actually following them to Straits Quay as I never been there before..
We ended up having dinner together in an Italian restaurant! When I open the menu *surprise*..!
Her mom says it’s an early celebration for both me & Mao!

The second one is a surprise from Y-Group..
I was asked to meet up in Fresh for a gathering..
Once there we sat ad ordered our drinks.. Not long after that, Simon & CWa went out..
A couple of minutes later, they came back with a cake! *surprise*
There’s also a card & a gift.. Guess what, Patrick Star!! *OMG*

The third celebration really got me! It was from the boys' group..
The supposed plan was to celebrate Adrien’s birthday..
Then when Wei Boon announced the celebration, he included my name! *surprise*
Got a little shock..

The last surprise was from 3DJ.. Hehe..
It was in annual dinner where the brought the cake..
After the performance I went to their seat and surprisingly I saw the cake on their table!
It was Patrick on the cake!! *surprise*

Lastly was from my family..
I went back late on the 17th so we cut the cake on the next day..
Anyway, love the cake..
